Nankervis was tested throughout the knockout stages and showed tremendous composure under pressure. He survived a deciding-leg battle against Jamie Johnson in the Last 32 before edging past Taylor McGuckian 3-2 in the Last 16. Another deciding-leg encounter followed in the quarter-finals, where he defeated Jacob Todd 3-2 with a strong 75.86 average to reach the last four.
In the semi-finals, Nankervis produced one of his most complete performances of the tournament, averaging 71.80 in a convincing 4-1 victory over Ethan Yates. The result secured his place in the championship match and set up a showdown with one of the event's standout performers, Toby Clements.
Clements' route to the final was equally impressive. The young star averaged 86.65 in his Last 16 victory over Jack Divall before defeating Cori Wiltshire in the quarter-finals. His semi-final clash with Jayden Jones proved to be one of the matches of the tournament, with Clements averaging a magnificent 91.38 to edge a thrilling contest 4-3 against Jones, who himself averaged an excellent 83.51.

Producing an excellent 82.85 average, he controlled the match from the early stages and defeated Clements 5-2 to secure the England Open Boys Championship. Clements performed admirably with an 80.26 average, but Nankervis' finishing and consistency proved decisive.
