England Darts Membership & Selection Criteria
2026 Season
The following document outlines the updated membership provisions and international selection pathways for the 2026 season. These criteria are designed to foster a high-performance environment while ensuring all players have a clear route to international representation.
1. Provisions for Member Counties
To maintain the integrity of the national ranking system, England Darts has established the following requirements for affiliated counties:
- Ranking Eligibility: Only players representing "Current Member" counties are eligible to have their statistics recorded in the England County Rankings.
- International Pathway: Data from the England County Rankings serves as the primary selection tool for the 2027 England International Squads. These squads will compete in:
- British Internationals
- 6 Nations Cup
- WDF World Cup
- Membership Deadline: Counties must confirm their membership and submit all relevant documentation by 27th April 2026.

Berkshire – Cambridgeshire – Cheshire – Dorset – Hampshire – Humberside – Lancashire – Northumberland – Oxfordshire – Suffolk – Sussex – Surrey – Warwickshire
World Masters Nominations
- Nomination Process: Counties may nominate one male and one female player directly, or facilitate a dedicated "play-off" event to determine selection.
- Financial Autonomy: Counties hosting play-offs are permitted to set their own entry fees and retain 100% of the revenue generated.
- Strict Notification: Intentions regarding nominations or play-offs must be communicated to England Darts by 27th April 2026. Please note that invitational spaces are limited.
2. Player Membership & Participation
England Darts offers an individual membership structure to protect player interests and provide exclusive competitive advantages.
Gold Membership Benefits
- Substantial Entry Discounts: Reduced fees for major ranking events, including the England Open, Classic, Masters, Cove, International Open and National Singles.
- Player Protection: Gold Members will have their statistics included in the England County Rankings regardless of their county’s membership status. This ensures that executive-level decisions do not hinder an individual player's career progression.
Rankings & Invitational Allocations
- Point-Accruing Events: Results from the British Open/Classic and the Isle of Man Festival (Open, Classic, and Masters) will contribute directly to the England Events Rankings.
- World Masters Invitations: Should any invitational places remain for the World Masters after county allocations, priority will be given to players who have consistently supported England Darts events, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
