2026 Commonwealth Games

England Darts along with Scotland both agreed to assist Wales in making investigations on our behalf to attempt to include darts as a sport in the forthcoming Commonwealth Games to be held in Glasgow.
Discussions have been taking place for the last 12 months to see if we could host this prestigious event.
We are in the process of contacting all the commonwealth countries with an offer of participating in the event, which will be held in Cardiff.
We are hoping that this initiative as a demonstration sport within the Commonwealth games will prove the catalyst for full inclusion into the main games in future years.
This is the same process which has been used in Olympics to assess the viability both financial and levels of participation.
This is a unique opportunity for furthering our sport of darts, and England are 100% behind this initiative, the start of which for England will come at the England Trials at Selsey on Friday 6th June at Selsey during the England Open. The trial is open to everyone and can be entered online via www.englanddarts.co.uk
