The evening started with a close game between two youth players, before the experienced John Walton once again put in a good performance in an England shirt with a 32.67 average.

The first ladies game of the night saw Rilana Erades facing Trina Gulliver (this was a repeat of their match in the England v Netherlands match last year) and for the second year running it was Rilana who was victorious, including shots out of 116 and 80.

The outstanding match of the session was the fifth game as Ricky Evans was moved into the senior team for the first time, in place of Andy Fordham who was unwell, however Ricky was completely at home as he beat the experienced Andreas Krockel in legs of 16, 12 & 14 to give him a 35.79 average, equalling Kev Simm's in the afternoon session and it could have been better as he missed two darts at a double.

The match had been very close all the way through but a win by Martin Atkins in the final game of the day ensured that they finished the day 11 - 10 ahead.

"A Leg With Bobby starring Suzanne Nixon"

Suzanne Nixon, wife of Phill won the chance to play against Bobby George, but despite Suzanne taking the darts of most of the England team on stage with her, Bobby just managed to win the leg.

The match of the day so far has come from Kev Simm, who marked his first England appearance with winning legs of 12, 15 & 15 darts to record a fantastic 35.79 average, the twelve dart was concluded with a 138 shot out.

In the first youth match David Pallett had a great win over the reigning World Cup youth champion.

England men's Captain Martin Adams had a 31.98 average in a match that saw him set a new appearance record for the England team.

Robert Wagner had the first 30 plus average for the European team.

Reigning Ladies Winmau Masters champion was involved in a great match with Lisa Ashton that meant the overall score was level at 5 - 5 after England had taken a 5 - 0 lead.

A win from Geert De Vos meant that Europe took the lead 6 - 5 into the evening session.

Saturday 22nd March Results

The players in attendance have between them won 10 Lakeside/Embassy World Professional titles, 10 Winmau World Masters titles, 7 World Cup Singles titles, 7 Europe Cup Singles titles, 11 World Cup Pairs titles,  10 World Cup Team winners, 11 Europe Cup Pairs titles, countless Ranking tournaments and National titles. There is the first player to have recorded a live televised 9 dart leg.

There is also a chance to play on the stage as Bobby George will play someone from the crowd in every session in 'A Leg with Bobby' as he does on BBC TV during the Lakeside World Professional.

In addition to this Bobby will also be playing for the Europe team as a replacement for Co Stompe, who was unable to travel (it is hard to leave Holland without a passport!!).
